GETTING HERE …
The nearest airport is in Prince Edward Island's
capital city of Charlottetown, just twenty minutes away from accommodation at
Blue Heron Hideaways. The airport is
serviced by commuter airlines. Connections are through Halifax, Nova Scotia or
direct from Toronto. Car rentals are available at the airport from all
international companies. If you are coming by car, you travel across the
Confederation Bridge from New Brunswick, to Charlottetown and then to your
accommodation. You may find it convenient to fly into Halifax or Moncton and
then drive to Prince Edward Island. The drive from Halifax or Moncton airports
to Charlottetown will take about three hours, via the Confederation Bridge. You
can also traverse the Northumberland Strait by carferry.
The travel time will be about the same as the bridge.
